Thousands of people flocked to Loch Lomond Shores over the weekend as the site celebrated its 20th birthday with a new festival.

SummerFest saw two full days of entertainment, with an estimated attendance of up to 15,000 people.

The entertainment stage was compered by Clyde 1’s Cassi and hosted performances by local singers and dancers.

Among them was little Highland dancer Lucy Clark, whose sword dance stumble - and quick recovery - went viral when a video was shared on Loch Lomond Shores' social media.

A spokesperson for Loch Lomond Shores said: “We’re delighted that everyone came along to celebrate our 20th birthday and because the event was so successful we have decided to add SummerFest to our annual calendar of events, taking place on or around the first weekend in July.”
