Helensburgh’s Scottish Country Dance Society branch has appointed a new chair.
The society announced that Lesley Smith had been elected to replace Helen Bain as the chair during its last Annual General Meeting.
Lesley had been the chair of the branch since lockdown but decided to step down from the role.
A club representative said: “Helen Bain stepped down as chair having served as chair for an extended period during the lockdown.
“We are delighted to have Lesley Smith elected as our new chair.”
The society also announced that there will be free classes in Helensburgh Parsh Church on September 18 and 25 at 7.30pm.
