Volunteers are urged to lend a helping hand at a clean-up effort on Helensburgh’s Ardencaple beach next week.
The event will take place on Monday, July 17 at 2.30pm and volunteers will meet on the beach across from the Ardencaple Hotel.
The beach clean has been organised by Hope Community Church with Plastic Free Helensburgh.
Litter pickers and other equipment such as bags and hoops will be provided but participants should bring their own gloves for health and safety.
A representative from Plastic Free Helensburgh said: “Even if you can only manage 30 minutes come along, it all makes a difference.”
Volunteers do not need to let the organisers know they will be joining and can simply show up on the day.
