Young people in Helensburgh and Lomond can enjoy the “relaxing warmth” of an outdoor sound bath in Cardross.

Reiki practitioners Lichtie Healing are returning to Geilston Gardens on Friday, July 28 with a special version of their sound bath sessions created especially for children aged five to 15.

The meditative event will allow participants to relax and take in the sounds of crystal bowls and Tibetan bowls alongside the natural noises of the garden such as birds chirping and the burn flowing.

A representative from Lichtie Healing said: “We blend the clarity of crystal singing bowls with the smooth sacred tones of traditional Tibetan bowls.

“Add to that the delicate quiver of the Koshi chimes, the primordial beat of Shamanic drums and you have the relaxing warmth from a bath of sound.”

Each child must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of two children per adult allowed.

Adults who come along will get to participate in the practice but must also buy a ticket to the event.

While sound baths have been held for adults only in Geilston Gardens, this weekend’s child friendly event is the first of its kind.

Spaces cost £7.50 for children and adults and can be booked by emailing geilstonfriends.events@gmail.com.
